Andrew Klavan of The Daily Wire and his son, Spencer Klavan of the Claremont Institute, will speak at the University of Chicago on February 27 at Ida Noyes Hall. The topic of the hour will be “How to Start an American Renaissance.”
Andrew hosts The Andrew Klavan Show for The Daily Wire. He is also a prolific novelist, particularly in the mystery and crime genres. His books have been nominated for and won multiple awards, and many have been adapted into films. Meanwhile, Spencer is an editor for two Claremont Institute publications—The American Mind and The Claremont Review of Books—who hosts The Young Heretics podcast. Like his father, Spencer has written multiple books. His most recent is How to Save the West: Ancient Wisdom for 5 Modern Crises.
UChicago’s chapter of College Republicans is organizing the talk, whose sponsor is Young America’s Foundation (YAF).
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:00 PM CST, and the Klavans’ talk will commence at 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you can watch the event live on the YAFTV YouTube channel. However, in-person participants will have the unique opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the Klavans.
