BREAKING: UChicago Institute of Politics to Host Anti-White Racial Separatist for Tyre Nichols Event

Informed and dispassionate conversations are apparently not in vogue at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics (IOP), which will host as a speaker Amber Sherman, a radical, anti-white activist whose racial separatist ideology might make David Duke proud.

The subject of Sherman’s Tuesday panel discussion will be “Race, Police and Violence: The Killing of Tyre Nichols.” Nichols’ death is a worthy topic, because many have wondered how our policing system, as presently constructed, allows for officers to perpetrate such abhorrent acts of violence.

However, given that the officers responsible for Nichols’ killing are all black, one might expect a more sensible conversation surrounding the killing. The IOP could discuss, perhaps, potential policing reforms that would safeguard Americans of all races from brutality perpetrated by police officers of all races. Prior conversations of this nature produced legislation like New York’s Eric Garner Anti-Chokehold Act and Louisville’s Breonna’s Law.

But the IOP has forsaken prospects of serious dialogue by inviting Sherman, for whom racially unifying fixes are anathema. She describes herself as a “Black liberationist,” and on Twitter, she declares that she wants people to send her money as “reparations”:

Y’all doing reparations this #BlackHistoryMonth ?

My Cashapp and Venmo are Aisforafro just in case. 😊

Sherman also believes that she is entitled to not pay her rent during Black History Month like everyone else does:

Ain’t no way I’m supposed to be paying my own rent during Black History Month.

Most alarming, however, is Sherman’s attitude towards racial integration, especially in schools:

This is why y’all need to stop sending y’all black kids to majority white private schools, you end up with people like Monte who don’t understand micro aggressions and anti blackness 🤧🫠 #bb24

— A is for Afro (@Amberisms_) September 19, 2022

Sherman may have taken the side of Virginia segregationists in Loving v. Virginia, judging by these tweets:

When black men be posting they white wives I do be taken aback a little…cuz why y’all still doing that. 🫠

Alarming Comments Following Tyre Nichols’ Death

Concerningly, the day before the police footage of Tyre Nichols’ beating was released, Sherman cast aspersions on Memphis schools and businesses worried about potential rioting. She told those in the city, “As far as I’m concerned, y’all should pop yo shit tomorrow, Memphis.”

Memphis schools & businesses have spent more time fear mongering the public about what protests could happen than they have discussing the fear of being killed by the cops who are supposed to “protect” us. As far as I’m concerned, y’all should pop yo shit tomorrow, Memphis.

Sherman also took pride in protestors forcing one of the busiest intersections in Memphis to shut down, referring to it as “people power”:

MPD ain’t shut down shit, protestors in solidarity for Justice for Tyre Nichols shit down one of the busiest intersections downtown for going on 8 hours now. People power shut it down. Now #MeetTheDemands pic.twitter.com/QLvI3wbUk2

Aside from her racial separatist views and implicit endorsement of mob violence in the name of Black Lives Matter, Sherman harbors a general antipathy towards white people:

Not this white man asking me what number I am for boarding, baby mind yo business. pic.twitter.com/al3Q9KJG2X

— A is for Afro (@Amberisms_) September 2, 2022

That’s what happens when you fear the wrong people. Now look at you, dead cuz you trusted a white man of all people. https://t.co/IhKcGensBZ

I was talking to my friend about how it is to manage all white people, his response had me on the floor 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/8kvO7srnx2

It goes without saying that someone who sees an interracial marriage and replies “why y’all still doing that”—and callously dismisses small business owners’ concerns about their shops being ransacked with a “pop yo shit” to potential rioters—is questionably equipped at best to handle serious discussions about much-needed policing reform.

As a purist on the subject of free speech, I believe Sherman should have the opportunity to voice her opinions as she sees fit—but they will not do much to solve the conundrum of police brutality.

In order to make all citizens safer from the predations of the state at the hands of the police, serious changes must be made. But does the IOP sincerely believe that a woke, anti-white racist will help usher in these positive solutions?

Yeah, she’s a hateful, anti White speaker & David Axelrod’s IOP only invites Leftist, cult marxist, anti White, anti American speakers.

But, it’s hardly fair 2 describe here as a “White Separatist” that might make David Duke proud. David Duke never opposed Black A Americans separating & starting their own private schools, social clubs, churches, Islamic mosques or just breaking away from mainstream America and doing a Black version of the Amish.

If she wants 2 separate from White America & go live where there are few or no White European Americans, European peoples there are plenty of places to go. Most West African countries like Ghana have programs 2 welcome Black A Americans – but she’ll have 2 take a real job & not shake down governments and corporations has hate White people BLM, Reparations race hustlers.

I m sure Baltimore is looking for dedicated Black teachers Black police officers – there is a need.
